Seaweed harvesting is done according to the seasons and tides, depending on climatic and regulatory constraints. AGRIMER is very involved in preserving its environment and participates in the various management committees for this resource.

Based in Plouguerneau in the heart of the largest seaweed field in Europe, AGRIMER benefits from an exceptional location classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1988. Our production unit is located 500m from the resource in order to promote the short circuits.
