AGRIMER harvest around 20 different species of seaweeds in a area covering hundred kilometres of shore, including the Ouessant archipelago, heart of the Mer d’Iroise.
Live seaweeds are harvested fresh and processed in our plant in the 24 hours after collection in order to preserve their intrinsic qualities.
In accordance with the species the harvest can be manual or mechanical. The picking answers very strict rules to insure the renewal of the biomass and to leave a protected eco-environment.
