En tant que vice-président de la Chambre Syndicale de la Commission des Algues de Rive, nous sommes très impliqués dans la prise de décisions importantes concernant les lieux de récolte, les quotas de récolte, la sélection des espèces et les autorisations de récolte, dans le but de préserver cette ressource essentielle. De plus, nous contribuons à valoriser cette ressource en partageant nos connaissances et en promouvant les avancées scientifiques en étant membre du conseil d’administration du Cluster Algues de Bretagne.
Prioritize local sourcing
Located close to the resource, we favor short circuits to guarantee the traceability of our raw materials.
Reduce our water consumption
The entire manufacturing process from raw material to finished product is controlled internally. We have reduced our water consumption by reusing algae rinsing water. We have implemented closed water circuits on production machines with a consumption monitoring dashboard. We have a pre-treatment station for discharged water.
Reduce our energy consumption
We have invested in new ecological lighting equipment which adapts the brightness according to sunlight and indoor presence detectors. We encourage responsible consumption by turning off lights and computer equipment at night and on weekends, limiting heating and air conditioning in offices. We are currently installing solar panels to significantly reduce energy consumption.
Reduce our cardboard and plastic waste
We encourage selective sorting and the installation of paper and cardboard bins in offices and at the production plant. We sort and recycle used cardboard, plastic and paper.
We all live close to our marine resource and are sensitive to the protection of this environment, so it is natural that all of these daily eco-gestures infuse into the company and the employees.
